Where It All Started

Frek began in 2021 in the hills of Darjeeling.

What started as a personal fascination with uncommon plants gradually evolved into something much bigger. We found ourselves constantly drawn to unusual varieties, striking shapes, fascinating textures, and plants with unmistakable character.

The more we explored, the more we noticed a gap.

Many plant stores focused on offering larger catalogs. Yet discovering truly distinctive plants often required hours of searching through endless options.

We believed there was a better way.

Instead of creating another store built around quantity, we wanted to build something more intentional. A place where every collection felt carefully selected and every plant earned its place.

That vision became Frek.
